Each day is a new adventure here.
First stop: National park exploration.
There was a moment when sweat was dripping down my face, I looked up at the canopy of trees, and just felt so content.
Heyyy check out who we found.
It was way cooler than I thought to be up close to these guys.
Iguana/lizard/descendant of the dinosaurs
Loved this beach even more than the last one. We also enjoyed pointing out the elderly-who-should-not-be-in-bikinis.
We successfully crossed crocodile infested waters to reach that island.
jk it was like 1 inch deep and no crocs.
We love palm trees.
...almost as much as limón snow cones.
And Chillaxing in our jungle pool listening to the trees sway.
We also have a lot of fun exploring around the house while waiting for the taxi.
GREEN and more green.
I made her sprint to the top of the house to be my model.
And you can't pass up purp flowers.
We went on a walking adventure while waiting for dinner so here's several action pics.
ps "Soda" is the term for any small café/restaurant that offers comida típica and sometimes little treats and things. We enjoyed bastidos after dinner which is like a cross between a licuado (smoothie) and a shake. Yummmmm.
Everything I see in the street can be summed up in one word: dangerous.
Like riding in the back of a pick-up. Except that was really fun.
One of these days we will make sure to be at the beach during the sunset, but for now we get a glimpse from the city.
And to finish off the day, we enjoyed a friendly game of catch phrase.
jk. Not friendly. There was maybe just a little yelling and tears. (see Ricardo above)
Whaaat is this day 5? Holy smokes.
Time flies when you're CR lovin'.
ZIP LINING TOMORROW.
And this blogging thing is kind of exhausting.
Like my fingers are going to fall off.
Night all!
