the beginning of something great

I don't think I've ever experienced a more exciting/fast/nerve-wracking/hard/joyous/CRAZY three weeks in my entire life.

Here is a taste of the whirlwind:

First day // Last day of school Senior Year 2014. That's a wrap, people. It was an AWESOME last year, spent with the best people. I am so blessed.

Happy, happy, happy because it's SUMMER.

And the EASIEST flipping goodbye I have ever made.

I've been getting all sentimental about parting with my "amigo", but luckily we can party hard this summer before it's goodbye.

Pilot Rock is officially checked off the Summer 2014 bucket list. 1 peak down, 10 to go.

Just in case the general population hasn't noticed,
 #oregonlovin is my all-time favorite.

And I'll be soaking it all in ALL summer long.

[Cue the waterfall] My bestest girl Maren left May 28 to be a full-time missionary for 18 months! I cannot contain my excitement for her, but I will miss her so flipping much.

WE LOVE YOU SISTER LIGHTHEART.

Families that hike together, stay together.

sunburns, dehydration, sore tailbones, and bike chain scars

WE GRADUATED FROM SEMINARY. This girl has been by my side not only for every seminary class, but sunday school, young women's, youth conferences, girls camps, dances, EVERYTHING. Here's to another year together, this time chasing our dreams as BYU COUGARS

Love my Medford 6th Ward peeps.

Along with all of these studs.

CJ and I had our 3 inches of fame in the 2014 yearbook, HA.

And obviously grad practice was our fav.

GRAD PARTY. Check. out. that. spread.

It was such a good time chilling with my favorites.

But I have to admit that watching Ebro & Grant face it off in Just Dance was by far the best.

The most special part of the weekend was this gift. My gramma sewed me a BYU quilt using pieces of fabric from my grandpa's old clothes. (I was bawling my eyes out). Along with this necklace to remind me of the 3 things my Papa wanted me to remember before he passed away. I'll cherish it forever.

GRADUATION.
For once, I had an excuse to take a ridiculous amount of selfies. You'll see why....

BAM.

When I delivered the First in Class speech, I felt the most confident and calm I have ever felt in my life.  I know without a doubt that my Heavenly Father was helping me every step of the way.

PIANO RECITAL. It was a huge success! so hard to say goodbye, but I will treasure these last 5 years of teaching.

SUREALIA. As I sit here looking at these pictures, I'm thinking "wait. what just happened?"
It went by SO fast, but it was the most awesome experience EVER.

You would think we'd get seriously tired of each other after 35 HOURS at the theatre, but nope.  They are the best.

If you missed the plot twist this year...it was a BLAST. I can't say enough about the excitement and beauty and FUN of Surealia, along with these 7 amazing girls.  It's a memory I will cherish forever.

Bahahaha Nutcracker 2012 // Surealia 2014. They just can't handle our heat on stage.

Walking away from the theatre for the last time, Emma by my side, was the hardest thing ever.

And don't even get me started about these 2 amazing people.  They are my coaches, second parents, mentors, cheerleaders, and friends. They have been with me every day for 5 years, pushing me to do things I'd never be able to do on my own. They have taught me much more than ballet, and I will take those lessons with me for the rest of my life.  I love you Elyse and Rocky!!

Like seriously it was so sad.

But the good news is, I will never stop doing what I love.
BYU ballet here we go.

So here I am.
Marveling at the amazing whirlwind of the past 4 years,
and looking ahead with a heart full of gratitude and bursting with excitement.
