so this is love

sometimes I literally can't breathe.
when I moved to oregon eight years ago, I cried every night for months.
I swore I'd never let go of my nebraska corn fields.
man was I wrong.
one summer day I crested my first oregon peak, looked around, and
 literally. couldn't. breathe.
like my lungs inflated from the sheer, infinite beauty of what laid before my eyes.
so this is love.
it's a dangerous love, kind of problematic actually... you see, it's an addiction.
I climb mountains, watch orchard sunsets, taste rain on my face and wind at my feet, and I
still. can't. get. enough.
a million seasonal collages just wouldn't encapsulate my love.
it's a love for something created by a perfect, omnipotent hand.
created for me
so that I can experience life in more abundance; a beautiful, breathtaking, incredible life.
thank you, heavenly father.
next time I can't breathe, I'll think of you.
so this is love.

refreshed & renewed

there is one place on earth that is completely full of peace.
completely full of power, of purity, of love.
here we span eternity and connect with the Lord our God.
here we discover who we are, why we're here, and where we're going.
nothing else can bring that clarity and purpose.
i feel whole, i feel refreshed, i feel renewed.
i love to see the temple.

oh the places

hello there, i'm christine adriana.
i created this little bloggy blog due to inspiration, or lack thereof.
and un-capitalizing is the new "thing" right?
i guess i should conform.
here are the stats.
i love dancing, the outdoors, and sushi. in that order.
i'm the oldest of five crazies. including myself.
my pet peeve is the incorrect use of "you're" and "your".
if you find me on the streets of medford, i'm on my way to one of the following:
1. dance
2. school
3. piano lessons
4. roxyann peak
5. froyo..duh.

i'm a youth; but in 119 days, that will no longer be true.

i'm on the edge of saying "adios" to this little valley of mine, family, friends, and beloved froyo. [sad day]

but i couldn't be more ready.

i've spent 126 weeks with 23 teachers in 29 classes at south medford high school.
i've gone through 46 pairs of pointe shoes during 2000 hours at studio roxander.
i've found hiking trails, the best pizza places, secret lakes, and, of course, froyo.

i'm ready.

although i've lived in oregon for almost 8 years, i've seen quite a bit of this world of ours.
utah. california. north carolina. nebraska. mexico. canada. guatemala.

i'm ready.

here's to loving my oregon and all my loves inside of it. at least, for the next few months.

then, it'll be a new story.
