A weekend get-away

We'd like to thank #byuspringday2017, Arches National Park, and that campground in the middle of nowhere for making this weekend possible.

Mondays: a love/hate relationship

How it started:
- Forgetting to set my alarm and waking up at 7:44am for my 8am class
- getting shampoo in my eye in the shower and becoming temporarily blind
- cutting my finger on the mirror in our bedroom and losing a ridiculous amount of blood.

I was like.... seriously?!
So at lunch when my friend asked how my week is going I was thinking "you have no idea..." but luckily I had a mouthful of turkey sandwich and he changed his question to "how was your weekend, better said."
Now that, I can answer :)

Shoutout to stake conference being at 1:00pm because we had a lovely, lazy Sunday morning over german pancakes, omelettes, and fruit (cooking creds to the roommates, because all I did was cut up the bananas)

AND THIS PRICELESS MOMENT. It was like straight out of a movie. I go to answer the door and in walks.... my best friend who I haven't seen in almost 2 years!!! I screamed to say the least. Soooo happy to have my Allie girl back!

And the latest on my playlist:

28 February, 2017.
My instagram tribute for Dad's birthday:

Happy 44th to my amazing Dad!! (who I'm convinced is secretly Superman on the side). Some fun facts you may not know about KP: He played on the state-championship BHS football team with a 4 year undefeated record (!) as well as the national championship BYU Rugby team, has run 14 marathons and 50k's, eats oatmeal with chocolate chips every single day for breakfast, serves selflessly and tirelessly wherever he is called, and is the most constant supporter in my life! He wrote me exactly what I needed to hear every week on the mission and I'm forever grateful for his wisdom, testimony, and love. (And for rescuing me when I fell 1000 ft. on Mt. Shasta 😂) I love you, Dad! ❤️

Maybe the marathon or 50k will happen waaaaaay down the road, but for now we're starting out small. ^ the sweat documented after a 4.5 mile run.

Vocal Point concert, Iceberg shakes, and jamming in the car were a highlight with Missy & Nate.

Whyyyy in the world did we do this? 17$ later....

I CANNOT DESCRIBE MY EXCITEMENT FOR THIS KID!!!!!
#BYUBOUND
Proud sister, right here.

Hanging out with these kids never gets old.

And new favorite scripture: Moroni 7:28
"they who have faith in him will cleave unto every good thing; wherefore he advocateth the cause of the children of men"

SO GOOD.

Gospel's true.
And hey, I still miraculously made it on-time to volleyball, I've learned about showering with more caution (ha!), and I'm just grateful I don't need stitches on my finger.

Next up:
Another round of interviews at the MTC and a HUGE Accounting midterm.
Let's do this thing.

They who have faith in him will cleave unto every good thing.
